The title of their talk is St. Peter sandstone in Winneshiek County: Subsurface Geology and Suitability for Mining. The presentation will take place in the large courtroom of the Winneshiek County Courthouse.

Some University of Iowa students are helping Sioux City plan for the future. Sioux City is one of three communities in the state chosen for this project. Wednesday at the Orpheum Theater the students met with members of the Siouxland Interstate Metropolitan Planning Council, known as SIMPCO. They'll be doing studies on how to improve various areas of life in the community.
