Engineering students developed recommendations for traffic calming and reconstruction to lead to a safer roadway for residents of the Hamilton Boulevard intersection area.

With the construction of a new school at the intersection of Hamilton Boulevard and Country Club Boulevard there had been neighborhood concern for traffic congestion backing into the neighborhood along Country Club Boulevard. One of the students' central recommendations was the addition of a roundabout. They also provided designs and recommendations for adding roadway medians and the integration of utilities and landscaping into their plans.
