Dr. Bogdan Kapatsila is an Assistant Professor in the School of Planning and Public Affairs at the University of Iowa. Bogdan's research is primarily concerned with the sustainability and equity of transportation systems, particularly how land use, built environment, technology, and transport policy influence people's travel behavior and impact their well-being. Bogdan has worked in academic, private, and public sector settings at the local, regional, state, and international levels on travel satisfaction, transit safety, transit electrification, technological innovation, micromobility, and transport impact assessment.
